January, 1928

29 Sunday. Clear sunshining day and very cold. We went to church and S. School this morning Vernon spent the day at Edmund Schwindt's and Walter & Ella had their dinner at Noah Miller's We all went to church again tonight Rev. F. F. Jordan of Elgin, Illinois preached excellent sermons both morning and night.

30 Monday. Cold. Clear & sunny this forenoon. Cloudy this p.m. Ella did her washing. Louis Miller called.

31 Tuesday. Fain Snowflurries Walter took a load of grist to Floradale this forenoon and went to Alex McDonald's sale at Alma this p.m. Vernon did the chores and called at Addison Reists this p.m.
