April, 1928.

15 Sunday. Very cold and windy. We went to church & S.School this afternoon Mr. & Mrs. Otto Miller and Norman were here for tea. Vernon & Norman went to League

16 Monday. Cloudy, cold & windy. Walter & Noah Miller went to Elmira Monthly Fair this morning and to Drayton to get clover seed this afternoon. Ella did the washing. Vernon was boiling syrup.

17 Tuesday. Clear and cold. Snow-flurries. We butchered 2 pigs here today for Edler's and Lincoln Edler was here and helped. Mrs. Earl Miller broke her leg today in the bush (a triple fracture)

18 Wednesday. Fair and somewhat milder. Walter got his fertilizer at Alma this morning and took a load of chopping to Floradale this p.m. Mr. Harry {Parr?} and Mr. Powers of Elora were here for dinner. Ella cleaned the store room today and aired some bedding.
