May, 1928.

5 Saturday. Cold,windy & drizzly Vernon was cultivating this p.m. Walter got some seed grain at Israel Shoemaker's and stayed for supper. Ella straightened up the parlor & dining room.

6 Sunday. Drizzly this morning Cool and clear p.m. We went to church and S.School this morning and to Leon Wagner's for dinner. We called in at Earl's to see Ella who is getting along nicely. These people spent the evening here - Mrs. Sam Bird, Charles Miller and Aulta Bolender. Mr. & Mrs. Augus Webers called in tonight. Vernon spent the evening at Addison Reist's.

7 Monday. Fair and cool. Walter went to Elmira this morning Vernon was cultivating and this afternoon Walter was sowing grain. Ella did the washing. This p.m. she dug a piece in the garden and planted gladioli, onions and pink seed. Walter went to a buisness meeting at church and Ella visited Ella Miller
