12 Sunday. Beautiful cool day. We went to church & S.School this morning and were at Norman Snyder's for dinner and supper and called at Grandpa Krauters for some harvest pears.

13 Monday. Grand weather. We threshed wheat this forenoon. Our help - Alex MacDonald, Bill {Hockney?}, Elmo King, Noah Miller, Homer Henderson, Eph Snyder, Sam Horst & Walter Adler. The truck took two loads of wheat to the mill at St. Jacobs. Esther Miller came over and helped Ella. Walter {started?} cutting mixed grain in the field beside the lane, and Vernon stooked. Charles J Hilliard, Carl Hoffman and Mr. Good called in on their way home from Wasaga Beach.

14 Tuesday. Fair and hot. Walter finished cutting grain in the field beside the lane and Vernon stooked. Ella did the washing.
