Monday Aug 3 / 08 fine Will & Harry went for a load of Straw to McDougall's and W. Batty finished scuffling & then they started to pull peas. We Finished & then started hoeing Turnips & W.B. & I cut around Oat Field. no 10
X Tuesday 4th Wet night We hauled 8 lds oats in Afternoon and Morning I went to Sorbys bred Princess to M. Marques 2nd time Will & boys worked at roots.
Wensday 5th Dull Will plowed boys Cleaned box stalls and Chored. I went to town bgt meat $125 Groceries. 80c hardware at Penfolds 25c Cups. 35c. Cartage Co. Ac. $335 Mr Mill & Co. 1.25 .25 .80 .35 3.35 11.35
Thursday 6th fine We thrashed this morning had man each from McDougall, Barber, Friendship. Telfer Harvey, & Goy. We Thrashed Fall Wheat & 8 lds. Oats. I went to town in Evening bgt clothing $165 shoes $400 Ticket to East Aurora 1.65 4.00 3.75
Friday 7th fine shower last night I went to East Aurora got to Buffalo for dinner got When I arrived at East Aurora Mr Jewett was there to meet me and took me to see his sheep which were not in good shape & also to see his race track and site for his Hotel or health resort. then brought
