Wensday 29th July. / 08 Contd. Oatmeal $145 np bgt about a ton of oat Chop at $3200 per ton & 6 bu Oats at 531/2 per bu N.P. at J.L.S. bgt bananas .10 horse shod. 50c pd. for Ambulance $200 shipped two Yearling ewes to P.H. Lane. Cherry Valley P.O. P.E.I. 1128 and 1126. bgt a bolt. 05 .10 .50 2.00 .05
Thursday 30th fine Boys Scuffled Turnips in Morning. Will & some of Children hoed turnips I met Aunt M at Stn. and, we cut oats in Afternoon.
Friday 31st fine We finished cutting oats in no 5 & hoed & scuffled Turnips & rape. Mr Lowe came in Evening & we had quite a chat about stock. pd Mother $1000 She went to Glanford today 10.00
Saturday 1st Aug / 08 Will & Children hoed turnips W.B. scuffled. I went to town bgt. 1/2 brl molasses & Salt & oil cake pd. for Last 2. 300 Molasses to be 30c per Gal
