August 1921

THURSDAY 4

Scuffing and haeing {illegible} for a few hours in morning. Then started in to cut oat on road ground. Larne shacking. Beautiful bright warm day. Aleg cut oat the other side and ditchy herd barn. Brock at garden barley at Rhomes.

FRIDAY 5

Home having for a while in morning. Then cutting and shocking on other place. The 7ac in morning plaughing Mr. Henderson called in afternoon. A little cloudy in morning but fine warm day.

SATURDAY 6

Finished cutting oats and started on barley. Came on a heavy rain at noon and was cueh afternoon. Charing, Braung home binder we to lawn at night.
