Society could do for a Small Town. Cut out a lot more material for my picture letter. Had to go down in afternoon to fit my kimina {kimono} and called at McDonald House & gave Miss Kirchener her paper for Guelph Meeting on Friday. Accumulated still some more material for Blanche's letter.

March 2nd. Tuesday.

Had to do some work for Charles and typed "an apology" to send to Dorothy re not thanking us for box, not writing, not dating her letters, etc. Took the work down to the office and got myself a new pair of {foot?} holes. came home and had lunch and Charles & I caught the train for O. Sound {Owen Sound}. Going to hear Ex-President Taft lecture. Mr. & Mrs. Bell and Jean went along & Messrs. Conrad & Christian King were there Also Jean, Mrs. Bell and I went to McKay's in a taxi. Later Mr. Bell and Mr. Mickle arrived at the house where Jean was to stay & rest until we went home. Mr. Bell and I went down town, called on Davena Ritchie. Went to Scarrow's and looked at shoes
