Went down town in the afternoon. Called to see Mrs. Caldwell who goes to Walkerton Hospital on Monday for an operation. (Is going over Sunday Morning.) After tea had to write a couple of letters for Charles. Mr. Fiddis called to leave his Forward Movement cards.
May 15th. Saturday
Charles went to Rockwood on the early train to Mrs. Joliffe's funeral. Did my Mending. Went down town in the Afternoon and knit a few rows on Aldyth Harper's sweater while I was in the Store. Duncan came up after tea and Charles got home on the late train. Nice day. Charles met a lot of old family friends in Rockwood. Heard that his grandfather and grandmother were present at the organization of the London Missionary Society. The pipes at the factory burst with the frost last night.
