Th. 18th. Bought of E Gordon ^1/2 Bushl. of Clover seed. $5.00 to be paid in a month. Finished plowing for peas. Starting stone etc.

F. 19th. Plowing in the afternoon.

S. 20th. Plowing. sold 6 hens to Mrs. Salter for 20 c each To be paid in time.

M. 22nd. Yesterday Roberts heifer Beauty took the bull, And Roberts biggest ewe had a lamb. This morning my little ewe had a lamb. Robert and me cleaned up the seed peas. Plowed this afternoon, One of Roberts little black Hoggets had a lamb.

T. 23rd. Plowing, Robert hung the pork up to smoke also the beef. One lamb died this morning. Planted early York cab. seed. Drumhead cabb. seed and large red Tomato.

W, 24th. Sowed peas about 5^1/2 acres and 3.13 per acre or nearly so.

Th. 25th. 1 Dozen Herrings of Iden the first of the season. Nine pence per dozen on A/C. Putting the rollers in the fence by the Goderich line on Christian's place.

F. 26th. Chopping in the Gore. Father finished harrowing in peas.

S. 27th. Chopping. The wind uncovered the peas Father had rowed yesterday morning, and he had to harrow it again this afternoon.

M. 29th. Plowing. Yesterday Rosa was bulling but whether she took the bull or not we do not know.

T. 30th. Father rolling peas. Commenced making garden. Mary got Mother a pair of shoes $1.25 on a/c of Amos Stafford.
