SEPTEMBER WEDNESDAY 6 1876
Go to Tannery at 9. Go all over to get Cheques cashed to pay men today. only get one done. Clark & Scott drunk this A.M. Pay men off tonight
C Wordan comes to office at 6. Have long talk.
SEPTEMBER THURSDAY 7 1876
Go to Tannery at 8. Porter not at work. Drunk. Scott begins work this A.M. Old Texas begins stuffing this A.M. Worden goes up on Cars this a.m.
New Girl Ellen begins work this a.m. Get telegram from IDMcCs for 60 Hides said his message & TP&Co as order'd by them. Have no Hides ready here.
I go to Buffalo on Cars this eve'g to meet Worden & get gas fittings. Meet Worden at /d Wilcox 149, Carroll St Lizzie Morgan there, see Worden {Go?} on Cars at 1 A.M.
