Saturday, July 28 Weather, Heavy rain in early morning cloudy, clearing + cooling Market day Produce from farm Cream - 71 pts Butter - 38 lbs Eggs - 55 doz chickens 18 Jean + Dorothy went to city with me Men ploughed in morning + cut & stocked wheat in afternoon Washed car at night Laura was here all day Sunday, July 29 Weather,Fine + not so warm Attended S.S. + Church in morning A Mr. Aikman took the service in Mr. Woods absence. Mary Rodick + Minister came home with us for dinner. In afternoon we took the minister to Sr. Johns and then went for a little drive calling on Mr + Mrs Billinger. {?} + John called in at night + Then we took Mary home and called in at Browns for a little while on our way home
