Thursday, November 8 Weather - rain all night cooler in morning with snow flurries for a while + cooler. Men ploughed all day. Isobel went home in morning. John was up for clippers. Laura stayed all day with me. New calf up the plate was brought down to stafle. Friday, november 9 Weather - FIne + cool Men drew manure all day, Norman repaired car between loads. Laura went home this morning. I churned 27 lbs butter in morning, planted tulip bulks, took up dahlias, and went out to Craigs for a sort of honey suckle + california poppy. Jean + Dorothy came up to stay with me.
