Father had been very sick in the morning. Mr Wilkinson had another stroke to-day. Mr. Padget called in to ask for Father this morning. Jim over in the afternoon to get the potato digger. === Wednesday, October 9 === Weather - fine & cool Men finished {mangles?} late noon Picked apples & drew in the pumpkins in the afternoon. 1 mangle weighed 15 Ibs 10 g. Laura & I went down home again this afternoon. Mrs Craig here {<- added in later} in the evening.
