July <u>31</u> <u>Friday</u>. Threatening. Started to rain around 5 oclock and rained all night. Walter cut the wheat today and Aubrey & Vernon stooked it.

<u>6</u> <u>Thursday</u>. Sultry. Heavy thunderstorms and rain this p.m. Walter shipped hogs at Elmira this morning and started cutting in the field beside the house. Willard Weaver was here this p.m. and stayed for tea. Grandpa Krauter's and Emerson's called here tonight and we all went up to Lincoln Weaver's
  
<u>2</u> <u>Sunday</u>. Beautiful day. We left home before 6 oclock this morning and went down to Charlie's and had breakfast there. Mr. & Mrs. Hilliard, Pearl, Vera, Ella, Walter, Vernon and I motored to Niagara Falls Beulah came over from Buffalo and came home with us.

<u>7</u> <u>Friday</u>. Dreary & sultry The men filled the woodshed with wood today. Mrs. Davison of Toronto motored here today and is staying for the night.
