Made an excellent start in 1926 by spending the first three hours with Jean at a party at Cocharand. My first three dances were {owell?} ones with Jean. Home at 4.20 making five hours sleep in three nights. {Birleys have?} for New year's dinner. Good feed and retired early for a wonder.
