April, 1925.
10 Good Friday. Cloudy & mild Aubrey was cultivating this a.m. and Walter & Vernon were cleaning seed grain This p.m. Walter was sowing mixed grain and Aubrey harrowed Edua & Doris were here tonight while Lincoln went to practice.
11 Saturday. Windy & colder. Walter finished sowing the field beside the house this morning and went to Drayton after dinner. Stanley Bender committed suicide by hanging himself in his father's barn this morning Vernon brought home a bouquet of hepaticas and spring beauties ^ from the bush for me today.
12 Sunday. Cold & windy. Easter Sunday. We went to Woolwich church and Sunday school this morning. We were practicing a song this p.m. for Stanley's funeral tomorrow
