Wed Dec, 3rd _ Rained a little; then a fine warm day, We butchered. I went to Prayer Meeting.

Thur Dec 4_ Fine day, turned much colder. We brought our Cooking stove in. day of Prohibition Vote. Our people, at W. A. Meeting. I was at Marys for a while.

Fri Dec 5_ Fine but very cold; heaviest frost. I went down to Toronto on the noon car. John {Smurthwaite} killed.

Sat Dec 6_ Fine but very cold. Aunt Mattie and Uncle drove down to Toronto, I came home on the car.

Sun Dec 7_ Came {a capital "L" can be seen under the word "Came"} a little snow, Uncle and Aunt Nellie at morning church. Aunt Mattie and I went over to Pa's for a while. Tom Farr here for tea.

Mon Dec 8_ Fine but extremely cold. Uncle went down and got 1 1/4 tons of coal.

Tue Dec 9_ Fine but still cold down to 2 {symbol for degrees} below zero. Aunt Mattie and I down at Mrs Troyers in the evening

Wed Dec 10_ Fine day a little milder. I went to Prayer Meeting in the evening. Mick here for tea.

Thur Dec 11_ Fine day. Mr Graham here for tea.

Fri Dec 12_ Fine day, very cold down to zero. Mr Graham here for dinner. We went to Lutheran Revival.
