Sun June 14. Fine but dull and cold. Lizzie here for tea. Uncle, Alia & I at eve church.

Mon June 15. Fine and cool. I walked out to Willies. Alice & Uncle out dining.

Tue June 16. Fine until heavy rain in the evening. Aunt Nellie + Alice up to Wiley Lake. Leddy {last name?} here.

Wed June 17. Fine day, and cool, I went to Prayer M. in the evening.

Thur June 18. Fine day but cool, Mr Delameu here working.

Fri June 19. Fine day moderately warm. We drove to Brampton.

Sat Jun 20. Fine day a little warmer. Lizzie called in afternoon.

Sun Jun 21. Fine but dull. I went to Fisherville. We all at Pas for tea.

Mon Jun 22. Fine day, Pa, and Uncle away & brought some cattle.

Tue Jun 23. Rained a little. Alice left {on?} this morning car of Daves.

Wed June 24. Very wet day. Lizzie here, too wet to go to Edgely picnic.

Thur Jun 25. Fine day and moderately warm. Went to Miss Duncans.

Fri Jun 26. Fine day & warm. Mary and Dick Watson here.

Sat Jun 27. Fine & warm. Uncle at Guelph. We went to pic-nic Mr Prings.

Sun June 28. Fine and cool, Mr Reives & Mr Johnsons here, also Pa's, Lizzie and I walked out to Church in the evening.

Mon Jun 29. Fine & very hot, Aunties & Ma drove out to Miss Bowes.

Tue Jun 30. Fine and very warm, rained in the evening.

Wed July 1. Dominion Day. Very very hot. We went to Presly {Pteriam?} Pic- nic.

Thur July 2. A little cooler. Aunties & The girls in Toronto.

Transcription Tips

  • Follow the example of transcribing provided in the first few PDF files of this diary.
  • Click Edit when you’re ready to start transcribing.

  • Copy the text as it is, including misspellings and abbreviations.
