January Friday 22 1926

Rather a colder blustery day. Had to run on milk route to keep warm so got home at 12:15. Speeded up my work all morning and afternoon so that we were all through chores at 6:15. Off to Hockey match at seven. Paris defeated Brantford 6-3 in a great game.

Saturday 23

Nice bright morning but later turned out to be a cold and very windy and blustery afternoon and night. Stayed home at night and retired at ten o'clock.

Sunday 24

Spent another one of those pleasant Sunday evening with Jean and the Barker family listening to the radio.

January Monday 25 1926

A busy day for me peddling milk and I was rather tired at night after the late hours the night before.

Tuesday 26

Alex and I saw the Grimsby - Paris hockey game. Thirty five minutes of scorless hockey. Score 3-2 for Visitors. Clark of Grimsby knocked "Schneakin" out when he hit him a terrific blow across the face with his stick in the last period.
