Friday 19

Roscoe and I went to crokinole party at Jay Wells. Had Jean for a partner from the start and we stayed at the head table for eight games until Carl and his partner defeated us. Had a real nice time thanks to Jean.

Sunday 21

Lovely day. Roscoe went with me on the milk route when we drove Jean alone for the first time. Belyea's were here for dinner and I had lots of help washing bottles after dinner. Drove Queen up and spent a very pleasant evening with Jean.

Monday 22

Two o'clock when I got home and in to bed but was up in pretty good time just the same. Busy time when I took Jean alone in the milk route myself. Retired early after we fixed horses up.
