September, 1928
1 Saturday. Lovely day. Ella and the girls took a boat try to the Island and did some shopping this morning and came home to Elmira tonight. Walter & Vernon went to the Elmira Fair this afternoon. Walter Adler came home with them and stayed for the night.
2 Sunday. Cloudy, drizzly & cool. Walter was here for breakfast & dinner and went to S.S. with us this afternoon We called at Noah Millers after church to see the little son and went over to Ezra Maurer's for tea.
3 Monday. Cloudy, drizzly & cool. Labor Day. Mr. & Mrs. Colson Jefferson Roy & Lois visited us today and were here for tea. Other company - Mr. & Mrs. Frank {Hamel?}, Sonny, Betty & Constance, Mr. {Merrin?} Smith all of Kitchener, and Mr. & Mrs. Baker and daughter Given of Toronto
