583 Treatment for Impaction of bowels in horses. when lying down look at their side when standing paws & acts like colic.
Treatment quart Raw Linseed every twelve hours along with restal injections to cause free Evacuations of the bowel, to subdue pain while oil is acting one-half-ounce doses of fluid Extract of Cannibas indica may be given Every 3 or 4 hrs in a small quantity of oil where stoppage is due to gut tie or similar conditions death will surely ensue
