Wed July x9_ Dull and showery, day of the Sunday. S. Pic-nic to Bonds Lake. I went to Prayer Meeting, and Auntie over at Pas.
Thur July 10 {the date originally read 20 but was changed to read 10}_ Fine day, and cool, Mary and the children here all day. We went up there in the evening.
Fri July 11 {the date originally read 21 but was changed to read 11}_ Fine day, and still cool. Mr Mrs and Miss Gibson here for tea.
Sat July 12 {the date originally read 22 but was changed to read 12}_ Fine but warmer. Aunt Mattie and {between the lines it reads: Men out first hay.} I walked out to Mrs Deans for tea.
