Cloudy, thunder lightning and a good heavy shower P.M. I stayed at home A.M. Mr Mcrean of {Metz?} preached A M from (Large Gap) and in evening from 1 Peter 5:7. last {dance?} . Ch coll $1.00 (Meaning: Church collection $1.00) L.A. ID (?)

Monday

Fine day cloudy and sunny warm. N.S. up all day hoeing corn Willie hoed with him P.M scuffled turnips with C.C . A. M Willie chopped some {pig?} took cattle up to SD again as they got out presumably by berry pickers letting down rails. he cut some grain with sow thistle in out of {No?} 3 A and fed to cattle and hoed mangles N.O. PM I went to {Jus?} Clark's funeral took Bella down with me brought Father home from funeral Bella came up with me again I hoed mangles N.O. after I came home. {Scharis?} paid for eggs & hens got Friday eggs 1.00 hens 1.05 $2.05 (sum)

Tuesday

Fine sunny day. N.S. up all day hoeing corn I hoed also Willie scuffled rape {I L?} also head lands with C C. and sowed headlands with rape I chopped some pig. We went up to {Allans ppy (property) ?} Took three cattle with us got 4 more up at {Kays?} they had been let out by berry pickers. D.Allan went up with us.Wm (William) Clark up for eggs 2 doz 40 cts. {Andrew Scharis?} and Charlie {Shey?} over in evening got 2 pigeons.
