Mon. 11th. Mabel went hme on 1st train. Mrs. Williams & Mrs. J. Horning here in afternoon & for tea. Jane Bray's Dan drove through & Jane staed while E.M. drove Dan to station. Then E.M. went with her to Bronte. Got a letter from dear Maggie Gallie, & write one to "Scorpion."
Tues. 12th. Mr. & Mrs. Ferguson here for tea with baby. He helped Sarah & I sing then had prayers before going to prayer meeting. Sarah, M. L. and I go to prayer meeting. Edith & Mrs Ingledew who came home to-day were there with Edith's cousin's boys.
Wed. 13th. Emma & Gordon home this morning on 1st train. Miss English here but did not get lesson. Max, two Maria's & Mercy go over to Hixon's in afternoon. Sarah & Nettie go with E.M. for drive round village. Come {large black X over "C"} back & we have a sing in parlor.
Thurs. 14th. Mercy went home this morning. Made Nettie a lace collar give it to her for a birthday present. Gave Ada 7th lesson. Ma & I stay for tea. Come home & Net & Sarah go to Bronte. Net for a birthday card out of P.O. from E.E.W. She is fourteen to-day. I got a new music book out of P.O. called "Sonatinon Album"
Fri. 15th. After school I meet Edith I. at P.O. who came to meet Sarah & I as she expected us to go over. We did
