May 1 Went to Thomas Scotts with Isabla she is going to teach school in his section got J Latimers Buggy Ad plowed a little east line the ground is to wet
white frost 2 Ad plowed east line in the forenoon I r{illegible} some stones at edge of gravel pit & then spread dung in the garden Ad plowed it in the afternoon I went around the persens at the Station per the School Bill white frost this morning
white frost 3 Ad plowed west side of the path wide field I planted 4 rows of young apple trees over 100 ma{probably maples} east side of garden and trime the trees at the old house
white frost 4 planted 5 rows of young apple trees in all over 130 sowed 4 bushel of Peas & oates east line widle field
5 Sowed 2 bushel of Spring Rye next the past seeded with Thimothy/ west side planted 1 1/2 bushel of potatoes
6 heavy rain all day cleaned some grass seed
7 the Revd r Carrol Preached in the church
8 thrashed the hay that was over horses & cleaned the seed had nearly 2 bushel sifted the seed that was saved through the winter had nearly 4 bushel
the woods look green 9 sold better than 3 bushel to Mr Vanarum at 11s.3d per bushel Ad plowed the ground rather wet planted 1/2 bushel of potatos in the garden
10 plowed between the ditches
11 heavy rain last night & all day
12 drew a few loads of dung to the orchard the land is too wet had to quite Ad got 12 bushel of oats from J. Bradly
13 plowed next the road at the old house
14 went to Escot & heard the Revd Mr Burton preach went down the track a little rain
15 sowed 5 bushel of the oats that we got from Richard Coapland East side of the path
16 sowed 2 bushel of Rye west side of the past the ground rather wet very warm day Ad cultivated
17 Some of the New land East line planted a little corn in the garden but a small h{illegible} in the 3 or 4 rows from {illegible}
