May 17 Sowed 3 1/2 bushel of Black see Wheat east line on the New land that was brock up last fall & this spring Robert Armstrong came to help us with the spring work they are all done a little rain this afternoon after night
18 Ad & Rob plowed north of the North ditch very cold day high winds
19 Sowed 2 1/2 bushel of John youngs peas on the first 5 ridges in the north side east of the path then 3 bushel of peas that we bought at Cris young
20 Sowed better than 1 bushel more of peas & 4 1/2 of Barley Sowed 8 ridges of it with with timothy Robert Armstrong went home at noon young elan went with him we got a fine job done this week
21 the Revd Mr Burns preached in the school house fine warm day
22 Sowed 3 1/2 bushel of Barley North of the north ditch East side fine showr last night very warm
23 very cold this morning a little rain last night Sowed 2 bushel of barley in the same field that is 10 bushel of Barley in all
24 plowed the head ridge in the north field & some a pail full of flax seed on it then plowed the head ridge at the head of the Ry and sowed it sowed 2 bushel of Black see in the {illegible} field
25 Sowed 1 3/4 bushel Skinlege Barley in the New field 1 1/2 bushel Black see the finished fi{illegible}
26 Sowed 1/4 bushel of barley & 1 {illegible} at the old house in the {illegible rest of line}.
27 drew dung to the orchard with two waggons Bill the loads
28 no meeting to day
29 plowed for the corn roller & harrowed it it is very dry & lumpy
30 plowed at the old Barnyard for corn the gournd so dry tht we had to quite the horses could not plow {illegible} young helped plow in the orchard planted some corn
31 plowd in the orchard H Young helped in the forenoon planted some more of the corn
