(In Angus McDonald's truck for "Armenia Helps Canada" and Mr. Porters' dray for Horticultural Float). Mrs. Beattie, Mrs. Tuer and I went down to school grounds to see floats assembled there. Mrs. Beattie and I came up here While Mrs. Tuer dropped off at the Manse. Mrs. Beattie and I walked down to see the Roller rink. Just had rough floor partly on. Community dancing to-night. Took stuff off floats & put it away. Called at Biehn's in afternoon to wait for Beatties. Went to grounds in their car. (Party - Beatties, Misses Nell & Bell Elliot and myself) at 1.30 and got home at 6.15. Met Father Cadot, Mrs. McKay & Mrs. Middlebro of Owen Sound. After tea went down town to get facts for London Free Press. Took down account and typed it for telegram. Duncan came up. (Keith here to climb tree in the Morning & put up big flag & stayed for breakfast) Wrote to Dorothy. Played seven-up with Duncan until 11 o'clock. Fire in grate. Very cool all afternoon.
